| Date: | Wednesday, April 4th |
| Time: | 10:15 am-10:25 am |
| Description: | UNL will join Lincoln/Lancaster County Emergency Management in testing all tornado-warning systems on Wednesday, April 4, during Severe Weather Awareness Week. The drill will occur at approximately 10:15am and will end in approximately 10 minutes. We understand the disruption that such a drill may cause your classes and work. However, with severe and dangerous weather being common to Nebraska, we want to be diligent to test the systems, which support a safe environment for our campus. Your cooperation is appreciated. The official UNL Tornado Warning Policy can be found at http://www.unl.edu/unlpub/tornado.html. UNL’s Severe Weather Awareness Presentation and FAQ’s can be found at http://police.unl.edu/. This presentation may be used for safety training within your office or department. If you have any questions, call 472-2131. |
