| Description: | “Homesteading Reconsidered,” is the theme for a national conference to evaluate and discuss homesteading, which will be held May 17-19, 2007, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Nebraska Union, 14th & R Streets. The conference is sponsored by the UNL Center for Great Plains Studies in partnership with Homestead National Monument of America. Additional Public Info: The Opening Reception and Keynote Talk are Thursday, May 17, at 6:30 PM in the Great Plains Art Museum, 1155 Q Street. Must be registered to attend. |
