In addition to concerts, the symphony plays for ballet productions and opera performances. Joining the Hamburg Symphony at the Lied is Robert McDuffie, a Grammy®-nominated artist whose acclaimed recordings for telarc include the violin concertos of Mendelssohn, Bruch, Adams, Glass, Barber and Rozsa. McDuffie has appeared as a soloist with several major orchestras such as the New York and Los Angeles Philharmonics and the North German Radio Orchestra. |
