SUMMARY:2007 Water Colloquium
DESCRIPTION:To showcase faculty and student research to other faculty memb
 ers and others interested in water-related research.\n\nOral presentation
 s\n\nThese will be 10-15 minutes long with 2-5 minutes for audience quest
 ions.  All oral presentations will use a single projector with PowerPoint
  software.  An overhead projector will be available if requested.  Abstra
 cts should include the PI or co-PIs, other collaborators, name of the pre
 senting author, presentation title, and an abstract of the presentation n
 ot to exceed 300 words.  Individuals may submit more than one abstract, e
 ither on their own or in conjunction with others.  Deadline to submit an 
 abstract for oral presentation is 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 31.  Accepted auth
 ors will be notified in early August.  Competition for oral presentations
  is expected to be strong; if you'd also like to have your abstract consi
 dered for the poster session please indicate this on your submission.\n\n
 We will have the capacity to bring in speakers via satellite, so faculty 
 outside of Lincoln can present without being on East Campus.  If you’d 
 like to do a distance presentation, please mention this in your submissio
 n.\n\nPoster Presentations\n\nPoster size will be a maximum of 4 ft x 8 f
 t.  Authors will need to put their posters on display by 8:15 a.m. on the
  day of the Water Colloquium.  At least one author is required to be pres
 ent during the poster session, which is scheduled for an extended lunch h
 our.  Abstracts should include the PI or co-PIs, other collaborators, nam
 e of the author(s) who will be present during the poster session, poster 
 title, and an abstract describing the research not to exceed 300 words.  
 Deadline to submit an abstract is Noon Friday, September 7.  Accepted aut
 hors will be notified no later than Friday, September 14.\n\nStudents are
  invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations.  \n\nAll abstracts
  are to be submitted by email to lbenson2@unl.edu. \nAny questions please

  4:30 p.m. on Sundays. Admission for UNL faculty and staff is free. Admis
