The UNL Office of Technology Development is pleased to invite you to a Faculty Forum on angel investments in technology startup companies featuring Mr. Charles Mathews. Mr. Mathews is a director of the Tech Coast Angels, co-founder and past president of the San Diego Tech Coast Angels, and is an experienced investor that has served on over 20 company boards. The Tech Coast Angels is comprised of over 250 members that invest as individuals and represent southern California’s leading source of funding and guidance for startup ventures throughout the state. A similar investor network (Nebraska Angels) has formed here in Nebraska that can help fund new company formations built around new technologies invented by NU’s faculty researchers. We encourage faculty, post docs and students to attend this interactive session to learn more about funding a startup with angel investments. The Forum includes a Q & A session with a panel of angel investors which will provide a great opportunity to gain first-hand perspectives on angel funding from real live angel investors.
