DIRTY HANDS is a political drama set in the fictional European country of Illyria during World War II. Hugo Barine (junior, Sean McGill) is a young revolutionary whose only desire is to prove that he is more than his bourgeois upbringing. Persuaded by Hugo's enthusiasm, Louis (junior, Axel Arth) sends Hugo on his first mission: to kill Hoederer (senior, Darin Hemmer), the Communist Party's leader. This controversial classic about the Communist regime and World War II unconventionally establishes the assassin from the beginning, but poses the question whether the motivations were political or personal.
