"Chasing Drought Across Nebraska's Past, Present and Future," Michael Hayes, Associate Director and Associate Research Professor, National Drought Mitigation Center, School of Natural Resources, UNL. This presentation will examine some of Nebraska’s past droughts and compare them to the current drought. It will also highlight what can be done to better prepare for droughts and reduce their potential impacts. Reception begins at 3:00 pm. Free and open to the public.
