Every year the Campus Red Cross sponsors a spring blood drive. This year the blood drive will be held in the Nebraska Union Ballroom on Feb. 27, 28, and March 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Please register online at http://www.don8bld.org.
“Exploiting genomics for understanding the barley-Fusarium graminearum interaction,” will be presented by Dr. Gary Muehlbauer, University of Minnesota. A reception will be held at 3:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.
An artist known for her exploration of human nature and culture through translated iconic images, Fox has been exhibiting nationally since 1985 and internationally since 1994. In 1995 she was included in the Venice Biennale and has exhibited at Galerie Thaddeus Ropac, Paris, among other European galleries. Her participation in recent significant group shows include, “Uncanny”, Tate, Liverpool, England and the Museum of Modern Art, Vienna, curated by Mike Kelley. A catalog of all her major works has been published by the International Sommerakademie fur Bildende Kunst, Salzburg, Austria, where she has been on the faculty.
