The first film of the Movie Night Series is At Close Range: On Assignment with National Geographic will look at the life of Joel Sartore, a National Geographic photographer and the first E.N. Thompson speaker. Our guest discussion leader will be John Chapo, President and CEO of the Lincoln's Children's Zoo.
Joel Sartore will be speaking at the Lied Center for Performing Arts on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 7:00 PM. The theme of the 2007-2008 E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues is Changing Nature. |
| 7:30 pm | Faculty Concert Showcase KIMBALL RECITAL HALLThe concert formerly known as the Faculty Sampler showcases select members of the School of Music faculty. Faculty artists Scott Anderson, trombone, Alan Mattingly, horn, Jeffrey McCray, bassoon, Kate Butler, mezzo-soprano, Randy Snyder, narration, the Chiara String Quartet, the Moran Woodwind Quintet, and the University of Nebraska Brass Quintet will perform in this concert. This is a performance you will not want to miss. We look forward to seeing you there.
Tickets: General admission $5, students and seniors $3 and will be available at the door approx. one hour before the performance. |

She is outrageous, ridiculous, and merciless, but great for an evening of laughs!
