| Description: | UNL School of Music presents Christopher Marks, in an organ recital. The repertoire will include Fantasy for Trumpet and Organ by Leo Sowerby, Fantasy for Viola and Organ "Rorate coeli" by Petr Eben, Voice of the Tempest, Op. 30, No. 4 by Seth Bingham, Prière, Op. 158 by Camille Saint-Saëns, Les Angélus, Op. 57 by Louis Vierne, "Pie Jesu", from Requiem, Op. 9 by Maurice Duruflé, and A Song Without Words by Craig Phillips. Appearing with Dr. Marks will be faculty members Karen Becker, cello, Kate Butler, mezzo-soprano, Clark Potter, viola, and Darryl White, trumpet. Tickets: General admission $5, student/senior $3, available at the door approx. one hour before the performance. |
