The University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Music in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine & Performing Arts are proud to present a preview performance of the Varsity Men’s Chorus, University Women’s Chorale and Chamber Singers. After a blind peer evaluation and audition process the Men’s Chorus and Women’s Chorale were selected to perform at the North Central American Choral Director’s Association regional convention. Many choirs from surrounding states sent in audition materials, with few selected to perform. The Chamber Singers were invited to the convention to act as a demonstration group during a session presented by their conductor, Dr. Therees Hibbard. Both Varsity Men’s Chorus, conducted by Dr. Peter A. Eklund, and University Women’s Chorale, conducted by Dr. Rhonda Fuelberth, are veteran state, regional, and national convention participants. UNL is proud of all three ensembles and their unprecedented display of talent and hard work.
