DESCRIPTION:Dr. Larry Michaelsen is a nationally recognized expert in team
  based learning. He has written several recent books and many journal art
 icles on the subject. He has also led more than 50 faculty development wo
 rkshops on team based learning at universities across the country.\n\nNum
 erous research articles and surveys support the need to develop college s
 tudents’ teamwork skills in preparation for work in the 21st century.  
 The workshop will highlight strategies to improve teamwork skills as well
  as overcome common complaints of teamwork such as individual accountabil
 ity, grading group work, using teams in large class sizes, etc.\n\nEnroll
