| 3:30 pm-4:25 pm | News conference ANDERSEN HALLUniversity of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty and students are invited to attend a news conference on Friday, Oct. 10, for Ambassador François Rivasseau, deputy chief of mission at the French Embassy, who is visiting Lincoln as a guest of Lincoln Downtown Rotary Club #14.
The 3:30 p.m. new conference will be at the College of Journalism and Mass Communications in Room 15 of Andersen Hall, 16th and Q streets.
Rivasseau was named deputy chief of mission in November 2007. His previous appointments include First Counselor at the French Embassy in Bogota; head of the Political Affairs Directorate, United Nations Directorate; and ambassador and permanent representative to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva.
Rivasseau will be available to answer questions from students and faculty. |
