The Office of Academic Support and Intercultural Services, LGBTQA Programs and Services, and Sigma Lamb Beta Fraternity from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are pleased to announce the annual Day of the Dead/ Día de los Muertos Celebration on Monday, November 3, 2008 at the Nebraska Union—Centennial Room from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This year our celebration will feature Echopoetico, a fusion of slam poetry and Andean music performed by Oscar Rios and Dominique Garay, a Deer Dance performed by Pablo Cervantes and a Welcoming Song performed by members of the Standing Eagle Drum Group. Please join us by marking this celebration with song, dance and music. This event is FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC.
