| 12:00 pm-1:00 pm | SWAP Meet: Blackboard 8 is coming in January! NEBRASKA UNIONThe Gradebook has been transformed into the Gradecenter. Faculty will be able to enter scores more efficiently, select specific display types, freeze names for easier scrolling, and drop lowest/highest scores. The new grade center will also allow faculty to print progress reports and access powerful analysis tools. With these improvements come many changes to the Gradebook. The adoption of Web 2.0 technology in the new Gradecenter means it looks different than the current Gradebook, and faculty will interact with it differently. If you use the Blackboard gradebook, you will want to be present while Heath Tuttle and Leona Barratt demonstrate some of these new features in the new Gradebook coming next semester. You'll also be given resources for additional tutorials/training so that you can be ready to use these new tools. |
