SUMMARY:UAAD Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Building Bridges Between Personalities\npresented by Sherry Si
vey and Janet Tschudin\n\nThis event is FREE for UAAD members. For nonmem
bers, the fee is $10 which includes a one year membership to UAAD. Please
RSVP by November 28th to John Dillingham at 472-1548 or jdillingham2@unl
.edu.\n\nThis workshop is for anyone who not only wants to communicate be
tter with people, but wants to get along better with them as well! \n\nEv
er wonder why it's so difficult to talk to some people? Or understand the
m? Have them understand you? We each need to build mutually beneficial r
elationships with each other: our bosses, our followers, our colleagues,
our clients, our vendors, and our competitors (to name a few!). \nThis wo
rkshop explores how to identify the things we have in common with others
as well as how we differ from them, as well as why – and how to - appre
ciate those differences! It then explores how to leverage both - for mutu
al success – collectively and individually.\nYou will...\n *Discover
your personality temperament and how you can use that to be more successf
ul in all aspects of your life - professional and personal. \n *Determi
ne the temperaments of those in your office (and your life!), and how to
use that knowledge to create and maintain quality relationships and commu
nicate more effectively with those in your sphere of influence.\n *Expl
ore how temperament impacts all aspects of your life: how you handle prob
lems, make decisions, get organized, lead others (or follow), build teams
, communicate…\n *Determine how to use your knowledge and application
of temperament to create value for yourself, your team and your organiza
tion - and to help them add value to you. \n\nAbout our presenters:\nSHER
