SUMMARY:THE SANTALAND DIARIES
DESCRIPTION:The plot is built around the musings of a single character, pl
 ayed by Paul Steger, who begins the play by scoffing at a classified ad f
 or seasonal employment as a Santaland Elf at Macy's.  As his elfin alter 
 ego, "Crumpet," he alternates between introspective ramblings, to over-th
 e-top outbursts, to biting mean-spirited descriptions, with maybe just a 
 crumb of holiday spirit thrown in.  Not suitable for younger than 13.
