Divisions include 4-H, junior college and senior college. Entry is $12.00 per person by February 1 or $20.00 on-site. This is the 1st Annual Classic Judging Contest held in conjunction with the many activities of the 17th Annual Nebraska Cattlemen's Classic. Come join in the fun, and while you are there stop by the UNL Animal Science booth as well!
8:30 am-4:30 pmWorkshop - Project Learning Tree (PLT) and Project WET East Campus Union
Workshop will certify teachers, students and others who are interested in using HANDS-ON MINDS-ON activities to teach young people about the environment. Workshop includes, 1. participating in hands-on activities made for pre-K through 12th grade students, 2. sharing ideas, information, and resources with other students and staff, 3. Project WET and PLT Curriculum and Activity Guides, 4. prizes, free lunch and refreshments. MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED. DEADLINE IS FEB 15, 2008. Please note that a $20.00 check is required to hold your reservation, upon completion of the workshop, your check will be returned. Please contact Ariana Jones, 402-472-1478, or arianaj@bigred.unl.edu. Forms will be posted throughout Hardin Hall, School of Natural Resources. ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THE ENTIRE WORKSHOP TO RECEIVE MATERIALS AND CERTIFICATION.
