“Evolution of Genome Complexity in Plants” will be presented by Dr. Jeffrey Mower, Trinity College, at 3 p.m., Monday, February 4, in N172 Beadle. Open to the public.

Performing with Paul Haar will be Michael Cotton, piano, Susan Levine, choreography, UNL Woodwind Faculty: John Bailey, flute, Diane Barger, clarinet, William McMullen, oboe, and Jeffrey McCray, bassoon, The Westbrook Saxophone Quartet: Elizabeth Love, soprano saxophone, Andrew Allen, alto saxophone, Zak Pischnotte, tenor saxophone, Doug Bogatz, baritone saxophone, UNL Faculty Brass Quintet: Craig Bircher, trumpet, Darryl White, trumpet, Alan Mattingly, horn, Scott Anderson, trombone, and Craig Fuller, tuba. In this program, entitled Settings for Saxophone, the repertoire will include Tableaux de provence by Paule Maurice, Concerto Grosso by Allen Hawkins, Music for Saxophones by David Kechley, and Concerto Da Camera by Fisher Tull.
