DESCRIPTION:Ronald K. Brown/Evidence Blends African, modern, ballet, and h
 ip-hop dance styles to relate meaningful stories about the human experien
 ce.  Praised by The New York Times as "one of the most profound choreogra
 phers of his modern dance generation," Brown's work focuses on the fusion
  of traditional African dance with contemporary choreography and spoken w
 ord, providing an insightful view of human tragedy and triumph.  The prog
 ram will feature "One Shot," which was inspired by the work of noted Afri
 can American photojournalist Charles "Teenie" Harris; "Come Ye," a tribut

 will coincide with the sandhill cranes’ arrival in Nebraska.  Every Mar

DESCRIPTION:This exhibition represents the young generation of American pr
 int artists matched with young Egyptian artists of quality and merit to c
 reate a platform of artistic and cultural interaction using art as our co
 mmon voice.   This presents the opportunity to learn about ourselves as p
 eople across cultures and distances.  The exhibition is scheduled to tour
  throughout the U.S.A in 2008 and return for presentation in Egypt in 200
 9 at the American University in Cairo, and the Alexandria Bibliotheca Art
