Corn and soybean growers are invited to attend the Nebraska Soybean and Feed Grains Profitability Project on-farm research update March 11 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Agricultural Research and Development Center near Mead.

The 9 a.m.-3 p.m. program will be at the August N. Christenson Research and Education Building.

Producers will obtain valuable crop production-related information from on-farm research projects conducted on Nebraska farms by Nebraska farmers. The Nebraska Soybean and Feed Grains Profitability Project is an on-farm research project designed to provide farm operators with an understanding of how to conduct crop research on their farms using their own machinery. Comparisons are scientifically designed, statistically analyzed and conducted for three years to assure reliable, useful information.

“Dynamics of Water Resources in East Central Nebraska – Past - Present -Future” will be presented by the luncheon speaker, Jim Goeke, UNL Extension Hydrologist, West Central Research & Extension Center - North Platte

The meeting is free to NSFGPP members. A $30 registration fee for non-members includes a copy of the annual report, refreshments and noon luncheon. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, March 6.

10:00 am-5:00 pmSpring Break Survival Kit Distribution ACTIVITIES BUILDING
The University Health Center and Campus Rec Centers will be distributing spring break survival kits on a while they last basis. The kits consist of a water bottle stuffed with a toothbrush, toothpaste, band-aids, ibuprofen, antacid tablets, a condom, antiseptic towelette, and health tips. If you do not want any of the items in the kit, return them to the University Health Center or any Health Aide booth.

After meeting on a train, they unsuccessfully attempt to work together only to find that this small French town isn't big enough for the two of them.
