| 3:00 pm | Faculty artist: Clark Potter, viola KIMBALL RECITAL HALLMost of the important Romantic period composers ignored the viola in favor of more brilliant (loud!) instruments such as the violin and the piano, but some composers reserved some energy for the more intimate sound of the viola. Violist Clark Potter and pianist Mark Clinton will perform Romantic Period Sonatas by Russian composers Glinka, Juon, and Rubinstein.
