The annual Honors Day Dinner will be held Saturday, April 26 at 5 p.m. in the Nebraska Union. The dinner is by invitation only. Faculty, student and alumni achievement will be recognized at the dinner. Awardees will include Christopher Ervin (BFA 1995), a successful motion graphics designer, visual effects artist, creative director and designer who created VelocityApe FX, Inc., Alumni Achievement Award in Art; Dr. Eugene O’Brien (BM 1967, MM 1969),one of America’s premier composers and Executive Dean of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Alumni Achievement Award in Music; Dr. Alan Nielsen (MA 1977), a teacher, composer/lyricist, playwright and director and professor at Stephen F. Austin State University, Alumni Achievement Award in Theatre Arts; Ernie Weyeneth, President and CEO of the Richard P.
