The Friends of the Center for Great Plains Studies invite you to attend the 4th annual Great Plains Invitational Art Show and Sale. The free Public Reception will be held on Friday, May 2, 2008. Participatings artists include Michael Albrechtsen, Dan Garrett, Wendy Hall, Ray Knaub, Gerry Metz, Andrew Peters, Del Pettigrew, Martha Pettigrew, Jim Rey, Gail Sundell and Todd Williams.

Please join us for our biannual Clay Club Sale! Undergraduate and graduate students in ceramics sell their work. Proceeds help fund visiting artists in Ceramics.

7:30 pmSymphonic Band KIMBALL RECITAL HALL
The Symphonic Band conducted by Anthony M. Falcone with guest conductors Abby Rahn, Douglas Bush and Carolyn Barber will present its program entitled Bandancing on Friday, May 2, 2008, at 7:30 pm in Kimball Recital Hall. The band will be performing works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Norman Dello Joio, Jack Stamp, Michael Gandolfi, Malcolm Arnold and Leroy Anderson. Tickets: General admission $5, student/senior $3, available at the door approx. one hour before the performance.
