The Johnny Carson School's Celebration of Excellence in Theatre and Film will be held Saturday, May 3. The schedule for the day is as follows: 9:00 AM - Student Directed Scenes from the Directing I Class - Lab Theatre, third floor Temple Building 2:00 PM - Student Film Festival - see the thesis films and the best of the student films made in 07-08 - Cooper Theatre, Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center both are free and open to the public 6:00 PM - Theatre and Film Awards Ceremony - Studio Theatre, first floor Temple Building The Johnny Carson School's answer to the Tonys and the Oscars, this ceremony celebrates excellence in acting, directing, design, film making, management, and scholarship. Tickets are $15. Please call 472-1619 for more information.

7:30 pmAnne Donnadieu and Mark Clinton, "From Paris with Love" LIED CENTER for PERFORMING ARTS
Mezzo-soprano Anne Donnadieu joins with prize-winning pianist Mark Clinton to present this recital celebrating the richness and diversity of French vocal repertoire. Donnadieu's operatic career has included leading roles with major companies and international acclaim for her polished musicality and dramatic stage presence. Mark Clinton is a critically acclaimed pianist and recipient of numerous prizes at prestigious international competitions. He is currently associate professor and co-chair of piano at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This event will be hold with both auidence and artists on the main stage.
