3:00 pm-6:00 pmPodcasting - Ogallala 14th & AVERY AVENUE PARKING GARAGE
This two session hands on workshop, helps you understand what a Podcast is, why it is important to your community or business. You will then create a storyboard of something you would like to publish as a Podcast episode. Once you have identified your topic, you will write the content and produce the Podcast. Besides actually creating a Podcast, we will discuss some of the technical issues as support, time commitment, server questions and how does anyone find my Podcast. Additional class sessions will be: May 8 and 15.
6:00 pmAthenian Dancers: Free at Six LIED CENTER for PERFORMING ARTS
Belly dancing is an ancient art form with roots throughout northern Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. The art of belly dancing is alive and flourishing with troupes such as The Athenian Dancers. The troupe is well versed in the many styles of belly dance: veil, sword, tray, cape, gypsy, Pharonic, folkloric, and cabaret-- all performed with the troupe's traditional trademark elegance and poise.

Attendees will: • Learn to identify termites and their damage. • Learn unbiased information about effective treatments, based on research results. • Learn why treatments cost so much. • Receive up-to-date reference materials. • Be informed consumers and make better decisions. Cost: $25.
