I2E Club – The Southeast Nebraska Inventors, Investors and Entrepreneurs Club (I2E Club), will meet Tuesday, February 10 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Kimmel Education & Research Center in Nebraska City. The meeting will begin with a networking social, sponsored by the UNL Kimmel Education & Research Center at 5:30 PM. The meeting will feature guest speakers and an educational workshop beginning at 6 PM. Doug and Victoria Damme, founders and owners of Eco-Green Enterprises, will share the story of their business venture. Doug and Victoria will talk about how they recognized an opportunity in the market place, the current state of their business as well as their future plans. Immediately following, Deb Heidzig, Office Manager, Farmer and Former Cooperative Founder will share the educational segment focused on “Under Your Nose Trends”. Deb will share some simple ways to spot trends. Participants can use this information to help them build their business marketing strategies for the future. Anyone interested in exploring the idea of developing a product, starting their own business or expanding on current business skills, is invited to attend. The Club is a collaborative effort by a regional group in Southeast Nebraska and has been made possible by funding from a Building Entrepreneurial Communities Act (BECA) grant. There is a $10 per session fee or participants may choose to join the club and pay a small annual membership fee. Dr. Connie Reimers-Hild is the I2E program coordinator and facilitator.
