| Description: | Fausto Padilla is a human rights lawyer who serves as a human rights adviser for the Centro Cultural Afroecuatoriano and the Centro de Desarrollo y Equidad Racial en Ecuador. He will speak on "Human Rights and Civil Conflict in Africa: Perspectives of a UN Human Rights Officer" at UNL City Campus Student Union on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. The lecture is co-sponsored by the College of Law and UNL's Human Rights and Human Diversity Initiative in commemoration of Black History Month.
