Description:

An exhibition of photographs, drawings, paintings and Darwinian materials guest curated by Paul A. Johnsgard is titled "Celebrating Darwin's Legacy: Evolution in the Galapagos Islands and the Great Plains." This exhibition tells an evolutionary story that residents of the Great Plains can relate to within their own environment. By telling this story through artworks, such as scientific illustrations and comparative photographs, visitors should find themselves better understanding the significance of Darwin's theory and how it is revealed in the world around them.

Additional Public Info: Museum admission: Free to UNL faculty, staff and students w/ NU ID. $5 for adults, $3 for children (4 & under free), $10 for families. Additional cost for planetarium shows. Parking free. Museum hours: 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday.-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Thursdays; 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sundays.
