 copies of his book, "I Am a Man: Chief Standing Bear's Journey for Justic
 e," at 2 p.m. Jan. 25 at the General Crook House Museum at Fort Omaha, 30

  If need be, Starita will repeat his presentation at 3 p.m.\nThe book was
  released Jan. 20 by St. Martin's Press.\nThe book is the story of Standi
 ng Bear and Gen. George Crook overlooking the grounds where Standing Bear
  was sequestered during what became a landmark trial.\nStarita also wrote
  "The Dull Knifes of Pine Ridge."

SUMMARY:Winter Festival for Wind and Percussion
DESCRIPTION:The Winter Festival is a unique concert band and chamber ensem
 ble festival for gifted high school students. The festival is designed to
  give outstanding musicians a comprehensive playing experience. Festival 
 participants are chosen through a recorded audition process. Students att
 ending the festival are involved in three different ensembles: a select h
 onor band; a chamber ensemble coached by one of the School of Music's tal
 ented applied wind and percussion faculty; and a large symphonic band tha
 t combines the festival honor band with the University Wind Ensemble. Stu
 dents also participate in a masterclass with the applied wind and percuss
 ion faculty. Senior students planning to major or minor in music at the U
 niversity are strongly encouraged to schedule an audition for admission a
 nd scholarship awards on January 23, 2009 (morning only). You can registe
 r for admission to the School of Music at www.unl.edu/music after June 1,
  2008.
