Sue Maes, director of the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (IDEA), will talk about establishing collaborative distance programs using the Great Plains IDEA model. A panel of UNL administrators and faculty will discuss their experiences with Great Plains IDEA programs. This event is cosponsored by the College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources and the College of Education and Human Sciences. Funding was also provided by the UNL Convocations Committee. Lunch provided.

I2E Club provides an open and supportive networking forum for inventors, investors and entrepreneurs of all ages. Through a collaborative effort between the Nebraska City Area Economic Development Corporation (NCAEDC) and Center for Rural Affairs REAP program, (Rural Enterprise Assistance Project) of Lyons, Nebraska.. The Program “So You Want To Buy A Business” beginning at 5:30 p.m. until 8:30. This is the first in a series on business transitions focusing on what you need to know before buying a business and who you need on your team when looking at a business for sale. The evening will feature sections on “Are you an entrepreneur? Who do I need on my team? What do I need to be prepared? And is a franchise for me? Reservations are highly encouraged.
