DUE TO LACK OF REGISTRATIONS, THE TOUR WILL BE CANCELLED... An exciting opportunity for beef producers to gain insight on the marketing of beef through the retail and food service channels and to learn about new research and other topics that affect the beef industry.
Buses will pick up beef producers at North Platte, Lexington, and Kearney on December 2. Producers will tour the Nebraska Beef Council Office, Cash-Wa, Metro Community College Culinary Arts Program, American Foods Group, Hy-Vee, and Cargill Meat Solutions in Schuyler. Producers will be dropped off in Kearney, Lexington, and North Platte the afternoon of December 3.
The Nebraska Beef Council is sponsoring the bus tour, so producers won't be charged a registration fee.

Go to the UHC lab and have a Wellness Profiles drawn. The profiles includes total cholesterol (both LDL and HDL), triglycerides, hemoglobin, and glucose. Wellness Wednesday (first Wednesday of the month at UHC lab and second Wednesday at East Campus Union Room 316) is a good opportunity to know your numbers. It is recommended you fast 8-10 hours prior to the test in order to have a more accurate reading.
Wellness Profiles are available to UNL students, faculty and staff and cost $20.
“The Role of the Omentum in Peritoneal Metastases,” will be presented by Dr. Edith Lord, University of Rochester. A reception will be held at 3:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.
