The profiles includes total cholesterol (both LDL and HDL), triglycerides, hemoglobin, and glucose. Wellness Wednesday (first Wednesday of the month at UHC lab and second Wednesday at East Campus Union Room 316) is a good opportunity to know your numbers. It is recommended you fast 8-10 hours prior to the test in order to have a more accurate reading.

| 9:00 am-3:00 pm | UNL Extension Program - Nebraska Soybean and Feed Grains Profitability Project Annual On-Farm Resear Agricultural Research & Development Center, near MeadCorn and soybean growers are invited to attend the Nebraska Soybean and Feed Grains Profitability Project on-farm research update March 4 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Agricultural Research and Development Center near Mead.
The 9 a.m.-3 p.m. program will be at the August N. Christenson Research and Education Building.
Producers will obtain valuable crop production-related information from on-farm research projects conducted on Nebraska farms by Nebraska farmers. The Nebraska Soybean and Feed Grains Profitability Project is an on-farm research project designed to provide farm operators with an understanding of how to conduct crop research on their farms using their own machinery. Comparisons are scientifically designed, statistically analyzed and conducted for three years to assure reliable, useful information.
The meeting is free to NSFGPP members. A $30 registration fee for non-members includes a copy of the annual report, refreshments and noon luncheon. Pre-registration is required.

Thompson Forum on World Issues LIED CENTER for PERFORMING ARTSSarah Chayes has been living and working in Kandahar, Afghanistan since 2001, when she covered the fall of the Taliban for National Public Radio. In 2002 she left journalism to help rebuild the shattered country whose fate will help determine the shape of the 21st century, working first with Afghans for Civil Society, and currently with Arghand, a cooperative producing fine skin-care products from local fruits, nuts and botanicals. The Washington Post described her book, "The Punishment of Virtue: Inside Afghanistan After the Taliban," as "sharply observed, fearlessly told." Prior to her assignment in Afghanistan, Chayes reported for NPR in the Balkans, North Africa and the Middle East. Along with members of her NPR team, she was recognized by the Foreign Press for her reporting in Kosovo.
