8:00 am-5:00 pmSpring Break Survival Kit Give-Away UNIVERSITY HEALTH CENTER
The University Health Center, Health Education Department, UHC Student Advisory Board, and Campus Rec Centers will be distributing spring break survival kits on a while-they-last basis. at various campus locations.

The kits are BPA-free water bottles are stuffed with the following items: antacid tablets; antiseptic wipe; band-aids; condom; ibuprofen; sunscreen; toothbrush; and toothpaste. If you do not want any of the items in the kit, return them to the University Health Center or any Health Aide booth.
10:00 am-11:30 am"Assessing General Education" NEBRASKA UNION
Dr. Yancy will present the first of two sessions today. This session will focus on the various purposes of general education assessment and strategies for making it sustainable and worthwhile for students, faculty, departments, colleges, and the University. There will be time for discussion.
10:00 am-11:15 am“Building the Revenue Bridge” Farm Bill Update Agricultural Research & Development Center, near Mead

UNL Extension has teamed up with Iowa State Extension to help producers obtain a better understanding of the new farm bill.  Producers will learn how the changes and provisions in the bill will impact their operations.


The “Building the Revenue Bridge” – Farm Bill Update program will be presented via an interactive videoconference on March 9 at the UNL’s Agricultural Research and Development Center near Mead.  The program runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.


Registration begins at 9:30 at the August. N. Christenson Research & Education Building.


This program is part of the UNL Extension & Farmers & Ranchers College series.


Presenters include Brad Lubben, UNL Public Policy Specialist and Steve Johnson, ISU Farm & Ag Business Management Specialist.


Topics include: crop insurance, marketing, farm bill put into action, ACRE, and SURE.  There will also be time for questions during the meeting.
