On Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 3:30 PM in 105 Othmer Hall. There will be an informal reception at 3:00 PM in W317.7 Nebraska Hall, preceding the seminar. The public is welcome.

Timmy Robicheaux, graduate student, Department of Psychology, UNL, will present "Defendants get hurt, too. Defendant injury, tort decisions, and punishing the dead." A reception will follow the talk.

“The Algal Endosymbioses of Hydra,” will be presented by Dr. Daniel Martinez, Pomona College. A reception will be held at 3:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.
4:30 pm-6:30 pmDr. Norman Smith Retirement Reception MORRILL HALL
A retirement reception for Dr. Norman Smith, Department of Geosciences, will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on April 29, 2009 in Elephant Hall of the University of Nebraska State Museum. Dr. Smith arrived at UNL in 1998 and served as department chair from 1998-2004. Refreshments will be served.
4:30 pm-6:30 pmDr. Nancy Lindsley-Griffin Retirement Reception MORRILL HALL
A retirement reception for Dr. Nancy Lindsley-Griffin, Department of GEosciences, will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on April 29, 2009 in Elephant Hall of the University of Nebraska State Museum. Dr. Lindsley-Griffin has been a professor in the department for the past 26 years. Refreshments will be served.
7:30 pmWind Ensemble KIMBALL RECITAL HALL
The Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Carolyn Barber, will give a recital in Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets are $5 general admission, $3 student/senior, and will be available at the door one hour before the performance.
