Nebraskans will taste a full menu of Game and Parks Commission operations and activities this spring while celebrating the state's abundant outdoor opportunities at Nebraska Outdoors Expo 2009, presented by Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. Buffalo County 4-H will be one of the exhibitors at the Expo!
The NU State Museum will host "Colorful Creature Day" on May 16 from 1-4:30 p.m., featuring artwork from its statewide kids art contest. The art exhibit opening wil include a performance by the family-friendly musical troupe The String Beans at 1:30 p.m. There will also be several fun activities for kids, including planetarium shows, face painting, fun with beads, balloon animals, fossil & rock stations, and the chance to see scientific illustrators at work!
