The Liferay Users Group meeting will be Thursday, May 21 at 10 am in the East Campus Union. Room will be posted. We will be demonstrating features in Liferay and those developed by CIT for Liferay Web sites at UNL. These include message board, faculty listing portlet, a staff listing portlet and display of the UNL Events Calendar. We will also be discussing features we have in development . UNL Extension and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) will present this workshop geared toward educating landlords and property managers about bed bugs. Topics will include bed bug identification, biology and behavior and how to inspect a home or apartment for bed bugs. Presenters will also discuss bed bug management using chemical and non-chemical actions and review LLCHD regulations regarding bed bug and other insect infestations in rental properties.
