Interest in raising meat goats has gained momentum with the increasing demand for goat meat in the United States. UNL Extension is sponsoring the Eastern Nebraska Meat Goat Workshop to assist those currently involved in goat production and others interested in learning about raising meat goats. The workshop will be held on Saturday, February 6 at UNL’s Agricultural Research & Development Center near Mead, Nebraska at the August. N. Christenson Research & Education Building.
