SUMMARY:UNL Extension Eastern Nebraska Meat Goat Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Interest in raising meat goats has gained momentum with the  i
 ncreasing demand for goat meat in the United States.    UNL Extension is 
 sponsoring the 2nd annual Eastern  Nebraska Meat Goat Workshop to assist 
 those currently involved in goat  production and others interested in lea
 rning about raising meat goats.\n  The workshop will be held on Saturday,
  February 6 at UNL’s  Agricultural Research &amp; Development Center ne
 ar Mead, Nebraska at the  August. N. Christenson Research &amp; Education
  Building.  \nRandy Saner, UNL Extension  Educator in Lincoln/McPherson C
 ounties, will present parasite management and  FAMACHA training.  Brian 
 Faris, Extension  Sheep and Meat Goat Specialist from Kansas State Univer
 sity will also present  some very valuable information.  \n  For more in
