7:30 am-10:00 amWellness Ambassador Lead-On East Campus East Campus Union
Attend the Wellness Lead-On to find out how you and your department can get involved. Free continental breakfast, physical activity demonstrations, and ambassador tool-kit provided.

Additionally, assess and set goals for your personal health with UHC and Wellness prior to the meeting.

7:30-8:30 am - Wellness Assessments:
1. Blood Profile- $20 or submit BCBS form (Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides,hemoglobin, and fasting glucose- do not eat or drink anything before you come in);
2. BMI and Waist Circumference (privacy screen will be used);
3. Blood Pressure.
Everyone will have the opportunity to create wellness goals based on results.

Participants who do all three assessments receive a free pedometer. If you have completed the full assessment within the last 3 months, bring in your numbers to receive a free pedometer).

7:30-8:30 a.m. - Strength Training with Bands
8:30-10 a.m. - Wellness Ambassador Lead-On (Departmental Wellness Program Challenge; 2010 Wellness Opportunities Overview & Toolkit; Q & A).
9:00 am-10:00 amNURAMP Module 2: Proposal Preparation, Submission and Processing ALEXANDER BUILDING - WEST

The Eating Disorders Education and Prevention student group will host an informational booth in the Nebraska Union.

Alumni Sculpture Exhibition. Gallery Hours: Monday-Thursday, noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free. The gallery is located on the first floor of Richards Hall, Stadium Drive and T sts.

The exhibition runs Aug. 23-Sept. 23.
1:00 pm-2:00 pmThe Evolution of a Quilter Lux Center for the Arts
Lora Rocke will present a “trunk show” lecture showing the evolution of her quilted portraits. Dozens of quilts will be shown, from simple cartoon figures to complex portraits of pets, flowers and people. Quilts by this nationally known artist will show that portraits can be whimsical, life-like, pretty or funny. But most of all—personal.

This lecture is open to OLLI members and one guest. Offered in collaboration with the Textiles Society of America Symposium.
