After Nov. 1, courses prior to, and including, Spring 2011 will no longer be available online. Faculty must migrate content if they wish to keep it. Until Nov. 1, past course content can be accessed in the former Blackboard 9 environment http://bb9.unl.edu .
MyUNL (http://my.unl.edu) is the university’s Learning Management System. A new software version, Blackboard 9.1, was installed for courses beginning in Summer 2011, providing greater functionality and security.

Film history buffs and all who are interested in the depiction of the West in American film will love the chance to see several works drawn from the eagerly awaited Treasures DVD-set, a project of the National Film Preservation Foundation, that brings together 40 early movies showing the West as it's never been seen before.
The presentation will showcase Last of the Line (1914, 26 min.), one of the best examples of Westerns produced by Thomas Ince. The film highlights the story of the return of a young Indian, Tiah, from a White boarding school, and the terrible choice his father, Gary Otter, makes in order to uphold his promise to the cavalry. |

The presentation will highlight promising, online-based efforts to enhance the knowledge and practice of K-12 educators. Cavanaugh will also provide specific guidelines, recommendations and examples for developers and facilitators of online professional development programs.
