Come check out the unveiling of the bench art project, "Slave Free Nebraska," Friday, Dec. 2 at 1:30 p.m. at Hewit Place, 1155 Q St. Refreshments will be served with a short program beginning at 2 p.m. on the 6th floor of the Schorr Presidential Suite.

The benches will be unveiled in the art corridor at 12th and P in downtown Lincoln from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. If you can't make it to the afternoon event, make sure to check them out during the First Friday festivities that evening.
