Venus will cross the surface of the Sun in our sky on June 5. These transits don't occur often -- this one will be the last one visible to us this century.

Small Sunspotters and a solar telescope will be set up in front of the Nebraska Union (city campus) for the public to stop by and observe this beautiful event. Handouts will be provided with information describing what's going on and the significance of observing these transits.
