If you work with a lot of data, you will want to learn how to tame that information and use it to find exactly what you are looking for. Learn to simplify how you work with large amounts of data by sorting and/or filtering the data to exactly what you need.

Learn PivotTables to look at your data in a new way. Learn the functions that make calculations based on conditions you set. Learn to control the workbook by linking cells, worksheets and workbooks as well consolidating your information.

If you receive data from other sources that is not in the format you require, you can combine data from different cells together or parse your data with the tools and functions of Excel.
