What are “open access journals”? How do they compare to print journals? Are they as rigorously peer reviewed? What are “Institutional Repositories”? What is their purpose and value?

And most of all, why should faculty consider publishing or posting their research in these types of publications? Paul Royster, Libraries’ Coordinator for Scholarly Communications, will discuss these issues and entertain questions.
