"Expanding the Scope of Mass Spectrometry Based Protein Analysis: Glycoproteomics and Noncovalent Assemblies" will be presented by Eric Dodds, Department of Chemistry, University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Eric D. Dodds performed doctoral studies with Prof. Carlito B. Lebrilla at the University of California Davis, and afterwards took on a postdoctoral appointment with Prof. Vicki H. Wysocki at the University of Arizona. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. His expertise and interests lie in the field of bioanalytical mass spectrometry, with focal points of his group’s research activities including the development of analytical strategies for glycoproteomics and structural studies of non-covalent biomolecular assemblies.

The voices from the hit animated feature film, The Lion King, come to the Lied Center! This all-male a cappella group from South Africa blends South African music with traditional gospel and has performed with everyone from Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris to Michael Jackson and Ben Harper. Made famous by their appearance on Paul Simon’s hit album “Graceland”, Ladysmith Black Mambazo is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
