"Expanding the Scope of Mass Spectrometry Based Protein Analysis: Glycoproteomics and Noncovalent Assemblies" will be presented by Eric Dodds, Department of Chemistry, University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Eric D. Dodds performed doctoral studies with Prof. Carlito B. Lebrilla at the University of California Davis, and afterwards took on a postdoctoral appointment with Prof. Vicki H. Wysocki at the University of Arizona. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. His expertise and interests lie in the field of bioanalytical mass spectrometry, with focal points of his group’s research activities including the development of analytical strategies for glycoproteomics and structural studies of non-covalent biomolecular assemblies.
Martie Cordaro, president of the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, the Omaha Storm Chasers, will join us to speak about how they built a brand around a new team name and a new stadium during the 2011 season.

Shane Book, Greg Hrbek, and James Crews -- Prairie Schooner Book Prize-winning authors -- will read from their works of fiction and poetry in collaboration with UNL's photography and dance departments. Free and open to the public.
