Join us once a month for conversation about ethics in context. You bring your experience, expertise and interest in ethics; we’ll bring your lunch.

Panelists include:
Linda Moody, Service Learning Director, Center for Civic Engagement
Kim Wilson, Dean, College of Architecture
and Nate Woods, Volunteer Coordinator, Clyde Malone Community Center
Micah Wullschleger, UNL Senior

Here is a description of the discussion:

Community-engaged learning is a collaborative partnership between university faculty/staff, students, and community organizations working together to address a documented public need or issue. As higher education and communities continue to work together, how do partners maintain their identity and develop trust in their partnerships? Panelists (faculty member, student, community partner, and service-learning director) will discuss the ethical considerations when faculty/staff, students, and community organizations work collaboratively.

If you would like to attend the October 24 discussion, and would like a lunch provided (courtesy of the Ethics Center), please RSVP by sending an email to Steven Swartzer at [swartzer@unl.edu] by noon on Monday, October 22. Or, if you prefer to bring your own lunch, please feel free to just show up!

This event is co-sponsored by UNL’s Center for Civic Engagement.
