Julie McQuillan (Chair of Sociology Department, UNL) and Karina Shreffler (Assoc. Professor in Dept. of Human Development & Family Science at OSU) will explore if sterilization is still more common and more consequential among Black, Latina, and native American women, compared to White women in the US—and if patterns are the same for all marginalized groups. Sponsored by Women’s and Gender Studies.
