| Description: | The UNL Dept. of History invites current and former refugees as well as community members who work with refugees to join students and professors in a unique community-based history project.Bring photos, documents, letters, heirlooms, traditional clothing or any other items that tell your story. With your permission, your items will be photographed and included in a unique, online archive that will be available for free to the public. The goal is to create a resource to help others better understand the rich and diverse histories, cultures, and experiences of Lincoln's refugees. Two opportunities to share your items--Sunday, October 28th, 12-4pm at College View SDA Church, and Thursday, November 1st, 4pm-7pm at the Center for People in Need.
