History Harvest: Lincoln Refugees

Share your history, culture and experience!

Event Detail
Date: Sunday, October 28th
Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm
Description:

The UNL Department of History invites current and former refugees and community members who work with refugees to join students and professors in a unique community-based history project.

Share your stories, the history and culture of your home country, and your refugee experiences. How do
you do that? Bring your photos, documents, letters, heirlooms, traditional clothing, or any other items that tell your story.

With permission, your items will be photographed and included in a unique, online archive that will be available for free to the public. The goal is to create a resource to help others better understand the rich and diverse histories, cultures and experiences of Lincoln’s refugees.
